compositing

once the animation was done i tried experimenting with the final look of it, although some detail or colour would be lost or waster, i didnt mind as long as the final looked better than the original animations.
while experimenting i tried to stick close to irish art and classic old looks, like black and white, or watercoloured.

dreamlike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67vG0y5VG8o&t=42s

depression: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6fc_pJcnv4&t=54s

black and white: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2linIEw9q2o&t=26s

i like the look of the black and white but not enough in certain scenes, especially when it goes more blue and purplish, but i also liked the depressed look, so i built on that and blurred and darkened the edges, added a grain, fast motion blur to take the edge of some scenes and saturated each scenes colour individually for best results.

im quite proud of the final result, although the Christopher scene turned out darker than intended the overall result was what i was working towards from early developing stages
